May through October we cruised over 5000 nautical miles in nine countries stopping at 69 ports of call (including 20 anchorages), entertaining 45 guests, 20 of whom stayed overnight. The most beautiful coasts, in the order that we saw them, were the Spanish Balearic Islands of Ibiza & Mallorca, Italian Riviera from Portofino to Portovenere (includes Cinque Terre), Italian Amalfi Coast, and Croatia.

Captain Sam provided impressive knowledge, help, entertainment, and his delightful girlfriend, Tab.

Construction Begins: August 2007 in Plymouth, England during the height of the boom economy and the British Pound was about 2:1 to the US dollar, construction began on The Prize. We drove to Plymouth for a visit just after selling our place in The Hague.

Construction Continues: We took another trip to Plymouth in December 2007 to check out the progress.
