2008

 

We retired and picked up The Prize in April.  From the UK to and through the Mediterranean we cruised over 5000 nautical miles, ending the season in Croatia.

 

2009

 

From Croatia we continued cruising through the Med covering 3000 nautical miles, ending the season in the toe of Italy.  The Prize was lifted onto a container ship and sent to New Jersey.

 

2010

 

From Key West to Bar Harbor, we cruised USA’s east coast.  The southern half was in Cousins Al’s and Becky’s fishing yacht Goin’ Deep.  After 3500 nautical miles and 60 ports, we put The Prize back on the hard for the winter in New Jersey.

Welcome to The Prize website.  This is the fourth year of our transition from corporate life to whatever the next phase will bring—we are slow learners! 

 

We continue making memories with family and friends and wish to share some of them with you.

2011

 

After a couple of weeks in New Jersey and Delaware, we will quickly cruise up the east coast to our primary destination of Canada.  After exploring the Bay of Fundy and Nova Scotia, we plan to circum-navigate Newfoundland.  If time permits, we will explore the Gulf of Lawrence before heading back down the east coast to put The Prize back on the hard for the winter in New Jersey.
